New Site

Thanks to Matthew at Dr. Sandwich, I have a new site up and running- and as soon as I get the past couple years worth of work properly documented, it'll be up to date. I've got somewhere around forty or fifty paintings from the past couple years to share with y'all. Some of them you've seen in some form on this blog page, some of them have been tucked away except for studio visits.

Still Working

I don't update much (at all) lately, but I'm still painting. Sooner or later, I'll get my actual website running and then I won't look so lazy for not posting all the time.


Since my previous post, I'd say I've made about a dozen more pictures and have even more in the works. And get this- many of the new ones aren't in square format. Whoa! Did I just blow your mind, or what?

Here's a few more.

Spring Fling ^

They're all Still 24in x 24in on wood panel with graphite, marker, water soluble colored pencil, acrylic and urethane. They were all made in the past 9 months, give or take.

Aside from Spring Fling these are not yet titled.

A pretty good month for me.

I've got 20 paintings hanging in Greenpoint, Brooklyn, NY right now. There's 7 at the Mark Bar (1025 Manhattan Ave, near Green Street) and 13 at TBD, just a block away (corner of Green and Franklin). There will be some kind of closing reception for this "Greenpoint Bar Residency." I'll post about it once return to the East Coast.

I'm also happy to say that I've got a painting in LA right now at the Manifest Equality show. These productions are a pleasure to experience and I recommend that you attend these events when they come to your region. If you run a search on the show, you can even see my painting in some of the installation shots published by the LA Times.

New paintings coming soon!

Here's a quick studio shot from yesterday. These are 4 of a series of 10 paintings that should be finished up in the next week or two. The featured paintings here are in various stages of completion. Actual results may vary.

Getting Back on the Wagon

I finally finished moving my studio gear out of my studio and into my apartment. And I finally got to work again.

My Funny Little Batman Painting

The Batman painting measures 2'x4' and will be a gift for Michael Brennan, who partly inspired it. The other painting measures 9"x14" and is my first non-square based (or double square based) painting in about five years It will be a gift to my friends Tim and Lali for their wedding. I may just let them title it themselves.

The materials are still graphite, Sharpie and acrylic/urethane paint.

Each of the paintings is a 2' x 2' square, or a 2' x 4' rectangle/ double square.  The materials are graphite, Sharpie and some combination of acryillics and urethanes.
